External Scientific Advisory Board (ESAB)

The CARE External Scientific Advisory Board (ESAB) provides high level advice on scientific issues related to project activities and deliverables in order to contribute to the quality of project, in accordance with the project Quality Assurance Plan.
The members of the External Scientific Advisory Board will be linked to the work packages and activities relevant to their area of expertise and will be involved in ensuring the sustainability of the actions of CARE. The Board will also play a significant role in corroborating communication of the project outputs and engage in the policy dialogues on establishing sustainable public health measures with the aim to transform the treatment of HIV, TB and HCV.

External Ethics Review Board (EERB)

Members of the External Ethics Review Board will be involved in the review of the ethical aspects of the actions of CARE. The board will be formed by two to five distinguished individuals external to the consortium that represent different relevant backgrounds to ensure that any partners, contractors or service providers that process research data at CARE request and on CARE behalf comply with the GDPR and the H2020 ethics standards. Candidates for the External Ethics Review Board were selected for nomination based on the relevant knowledge and previous experience of dealing with ethical issues of medical research and/or participating in the ethical review of the clinical research project.
